Radio Room

The Radio Room features Primarily and FT-450 (SSB) and FT-991a (Digital) Sharing a 40m EFHW antenna located 6 stories in the air on Columbia Hall. We also have a 2m Repeater and an APRS Digipeater.

Join us on any operating night for a tour of our facilities or for a lesson on how to use our shack equipment. 

Our members who are restricted by HOA, campus housing, or don’t have room for large antennas and state-of-the-art transceivers, SARA members in good standing can enjoy working all the bands and all of the modes hams are afforded by the club!
